The trolley underwent a bumper-to-bumper inspection and refurbishment. The interior was completely gutted and redone, including new oak paneling, carpeting, upholstery and drapes. A well-appointed restroom with lavatory and flush toilet was installed. The electrical system was thoroughly inspected and rewired as required. A new AM/FM/Cassette audio system was installed. A removable "four window" panel was added to the trolley's curbside.
